Problem Statement:

Cash has been a popular method of payment for centuries, but it has certain limitations and drawbacks. After Covid-19 hit the world, cash was barely used and nowadays it may not be accepted everywhere, particularly in situations where merchants are concerned about the security risks associated with handling cash. Uplift and increase confidence in minority-owned businesses using a digital payment tool

Goals:

These challenges have led to the development of Arise cashless payment solutions, which offer a range of benefits over traditional cash transactions.
Convenience: With Arise, users can quickly and easily make transactions from their mobile devices, without the need to carry cash or wait in line.
Traceability: Our cashless transactions are often more traceable than cash transactions, which can help prevent fraud.
Acceptance: Arise will be widely accepted, particularly in countries where smartphone adoption is high.

Our Solution

Instead of using cash as the preferred payment method. We will create a user-friendly app. That will help businesses to grow by improving the way customers pay. From receiving notifications at opportune moments throughout a busy day
to paying from your own device and having funds available with such a store. The best system for your store will be based on the type of business, enough resources, geographic location, access to electronic devices, and more...

The goal was to design a single design app for the company Visa. The contest required the teams to design a cashless payments app for small businesses.
As the winners, we received a cash prize and Visa gifts. We wanted to design an app that was simple to use, and at the same time to keep the visual language of the current website.
